We returned to our cottage to find that an intruder had broken glass in a patio door to gain access. Phil responded to my phone call on a Friday afternoon and attended to measure up and order replacement glass, which was most impressive.

Sharpes were recommended to me by the manufacturer of the Timberlook windows that I wanted for my Victorian house. They said that Sharpes were a great company to have in your home, and I have to say I completely agree! Phil was friendly, explained things clearly and was quick to produce a quote and answer my questions and make the tweaks I wanted for colour options and so on. When it came to fitting the windows, they did a brilliant, careful and clean job using materials sympathetic to the colour of the stone that my home is built of. As for the windows themselves, they look great and I would recommend them to anyone who, like me, has an older home which isn't listed but still deserves appropriate windows without the giant price tag of the most well-known manufacturer of timber windows for period properties. I'm so pleased with the windows and delighted with the work that Sharpes carried out. I would recommend them to friends and family.

Professional with courteous service and skilled workmanshipFrom the time of contact Phil was responsive and helpful. He made suggestions on style and design and allowed me to visit his workshop to compare colours and provided places where I could look at the colour in situ on his previous jobs.I was a little nervous about the installation expecting some mess, noise and repairs but it was all very straightforward. Sharpes supplied and fitted a new high quality front door with side panels to our house. Sales process was polite, non pushy and with plenty of choice. Fitting was timed around our needs and without drama. A few days after completion a builder, who was pricing some other work, asked who had supplied and fitted the door as he thought the quality of the product was good and the workmanship on the fitting was top quality.

The door was fitted with a lot of care and attention, a thoroughly professional installation. Highly recommended.
